She didn't look strong enough to drag Nancy all over the castle. The dungeon had no security cameras, and it was close to the trapdoor, so she could easily dump Nancy in. Not 'Anja told me Markus said')Īnd she probably knocked Nancy out in the dungeon for convenience. She may have told Lukas that Markus wanted them to play a prank on Nancy (When questioned, she was hoping he'd say 'Markus said I was to hide in the dungeon'. Her plan was to make it look like Markus caused a deadly accident. Remember, Anja's plan wasn't to scare away guests, like other 'monsters'. Unless Anja had another secret passage or a remote door close, Lukas probably closed the door, following Anja's instructions. He made it out before the door slammed closed, trapping Nancy in the dungeon. I think Lukas was in on the kidnapping (Though it could go either way). Only Nancy actually solved the mystery before Anja could kill her. That way when questioned, she could say that the planned finale was for Nancy to have solved the mystery. While it wasn't explained, my theory is that she wrote the notes in English for Nancy since the monster attacks were 'a publicity stunt'. ![]() After she killed Nancy in an 'accident' She wanted the investigation to find the notes and think Marcus left them. I like your thought that maybe Lukas thought it was a prank and just joined in on the fun with Anja though and it does seem possible.ģ) Yep! The minigames in this one are purely for fun and they don't have any impact on the game.Īnja wrote the notes. And then he tries to go get help when Nancy gets locked in the dungeon. I guess she never expected Nancy to make it that far in her investigation because she was to be the next victim.Ģ) I'm pretty sure that Anja kidnapped Lukas as the monster since he seems very afraid when Nancy finds him in the dungeon asking for help. Especially since Anja's whole plot was to frame Markus when leaving codes for Nancy is the most non-Markus thing to do. Although I have no idea why she would do this in the first place. So my thinking is that Anja was writing the notes and wanted Nancy to decode them to find the password to Karl's dayplanner and finding out that she would be the next victim. I'm not sure why Renata had one if the cogs in the shop unless it was just a red herring. I don't understand why they'd be in English, but I would get that Anja would write the last note in English because she wanted Nancy to find the last note and decode it. I'm guessing if Anja was writing the notes. Normally with the mini games you have to play them at least once for a specific reason but that didn't seem to be the case here.ġ) I'm not sure about this either. Was there actually any point to playing Raid or Monster? I know you get Raid cards from playing Monster, but it seemed like Raid was optional - I was never required to play it in order to advance the game, and I didn't end up needing the money I got from it. If the kidnapping was legit, why? With Nancy roaming all over it seems like it would have been easy for Anja to knock her out the way she ended up doing. ![]() Was Lukas actually kidnapped? He didn't seem very alarmed at being kidnapped, and since Anja was his aunt, I thought maybe she had convinced him to do it as a prank. If you had to use the German version of the pictures to set the dials then why were the notes in English? Who left the cipher notes around and why? Was it Renate since we saw her with the cuckoo clock that had the dial? UHS says it must be Anja because of the last note, but that makes no sense either. I was left confused by a few things, though, and reading UHS didn't help, so I was wondering if anyone else could answer them. This got off to a very slow start, but once I was past the initial huge amounts of dialogue I actually ended up enjoying the game. ![]()
